New Bern KOA Holiday at 1565 B Street, New Bern, North Carolina.

PROS:
I stayed over in one of their cabins in 2016 and it was a scenic area. The staff at the main office were very friendly. My favorite part was the outdoor porch swing which was very relaxing.

Nice views of the water if you can find an open spot to rent near the far end. You can also make nice fires in the evenings.

CONS:
Somewhat pricey. Especially staying more than 2 or 3 days. My cabin neighbor that day and his wife were staying for a few weeks at this KOA while they were looking for a house and it became crazy expensive when you added up all the charges. I felt sorry for them; it was as expensive as getting their own apartment in the area. The KOA owners should consider better long-term discounts and rates!

There is a small pond/sprinkler area but it was super dense and murky.

Overall: decent to stop by for a short-term stay
